It’s not all that abnormal to hear us talking around the office about woo woo stuff like being open to the Universe, manifesting the next big step, or living with our hands open to receive abundance. As we go into the new year and especially having just started the agency, we’re excited to dream big and get really specific about what we want to create in the new year. New year’s resolutions might seem like a trite practice, but we think there’s some serious value in claiming what’s next, seeing it in your mind, and taking micro actions each day that move you in that direction no matter if they’re conscious or subconscious. We want you to create your best life and so here’s 3 things you can do right now to help you manifest success in 2019.

Get Quiet and Get Clear

Our lives are full of noise. We’re bombarded with messages everyday both physically and digitally. It can be hard to separate what we really want and what we think we want. Success is not the same for everyone and you need to be crystal clear on how you define it for your own life. Not that you should vilify the influence of others, but it’s important to see what sticks with you once the distractions are stripped away. Get to a quiet space and give yourself room to breathe. Close your eyes, then focus on your breath as you inhale and exhale. There are several good meditation apps to help guide this practice. We like the Oak app because it’s free and doesn’t have any subscription requirements.

Once your mind is free from clutter, clear the path for dreaming. What comes to mind when you think about success? How do you define it? If money and resource and excuses were not obstacles what would you be doing with your life? How would you spend your time? Who would you serve?

Cut It Out

Most of us had a bulletin board in our room as a teen. Mine was always a mix of cd jackets, notes my best friend passed me in homeroom, and my celebrity crushes. They eventually evolved into a visual representation of hopes and dreams long before I ever knew it was a manifesting practice. The idea of goal setting using vision boards is palatable for most, so this one you can do for sure. You can either use Pinterest or physically cut pictures out of magazines. The idea is that there is no real description on any of the images. They can be literal or metaphorical in nature. Or they can just make you feel a certain way. Since we’re all such visual people, this tool will remind you that the things you want in the world already exist and now you just have to go after them. Here’s an example of our vision board for 2019 so you get the idea.

Just Add Action

Now that you’ve got a clear picture in your mind and on your wall of what success looks like for you, it’s time to put things into action. Some of these might be small things that you can execute now and others might be years worth of work to get you there. Either way, you can take small steps toward your bigger goals. Even if that means researching the price of your dream home, looking for a new job, or making an important connection in your network. The important thing is that you get moving.

We hope that you’ll put some of these practices into place so you can have the best, most successful year ever.
